Asia’s brother Casey
Once we decided a Bearded Collie was the breed of dog we were looking for, our next step was to
contact reputable breeders and through the Bearded Collie Club of Canada,
we contacted Susanne.
She advised us that she had a litter of Beardies and still had a couple to be adopted to good
homes when the time came to leave their mother. She invited us to visit her at a convenient
location between her town and ours and brought all the puppies along with an older sister
to meet us.
Of course, it was love at first site. Who can resist a Beardie puppy!
(This also gave Susanne an opportunity to meet us and see if she thought we were
suitable parents for her pup). I guess she thought we were, because before we knew it,
we were invited to her house/kennel to choose our pup.
We chose Casey (then called Butterscotch) who was the only brown boy in the litter.
He is the sweetest, gentlest, most loving little fellow anyone could ever meet.
Susanne was always as close as the phone whenever we needed advice and even
brought some of Casey's litter mates to our house to play with him and invited us back
to her house for more Beardie Bounces.
She takes a real interest in the well-being of her pups and we would highly recommend
her to anyone looking for a Bearded Collie.
